Official Eureka County Contacts
The Eureka County Sheriff’s Office is the first contact for a county arrest, CitizenRIMS entry, booking question, or records request. Call 911 only for an emergency. Administrative hours effective January 5, 2026 are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. lunch period and a Friday closure. Those office hours are not a promise that booking or records staff are always available.

ECSO Records/Technical Support accepts a completed request form in person, by mail, or by email. The office reviews availability and any fee before release. Use the following routes for the type of answer needed.
- For a booking entry, photo, incident report, or records request, start with the county record guide and then contact ECSO Records.
- For the newest public booking activity, use Arrested Today; for a wider date range, use Arrest Reports.
- For custody or release notifications after a county arrest, use Nevada S.A.V.E. or call SAVE support at 866-393-5445.
- For a misdemeanor case, probable-cause question, or court disposition, contact Eureka Justice Court at 775-237-5540. District-level files are held by the Eureka County Clerk Recorder for the Seventh Judicial District.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Nevada Department of Corrections Inmate Search; NDOC Family Services can be reached at 775-977-5707.
- For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
- For a current physical location when Eureka has transferred custody, ask ECSO which receiving county or agency should be contacted.
